(Can I just say.. These two have the most BEAUTIFUL LOCKS I've ever seen!! <3 <3 <3)
These two. are getting married....Saturday!!!! <3
I remember the day I received the inquiry... I recognized the last name, could it be, oh yes! I knew Katie's brother from Apple and loved working with him and I knew I would have a blast with this family! I couldn't wait to respond and talk wedding with her! We decided to meet up for beers and wedding talk and we both knew that it was a good fit with that suggestion! HA! I think we sat and talked for almost three hours??!! We talked about all her plans for their day, a food truck rodeo at an awesome farm in Hillsboro, how she met Ben, what's it was like to be a Farrier ( Don't know what that is? Don't feel bad.. I had to look it up too! After I read about it in her first email I googled it and was blown away.. this chick is Bad A$$ and I can't wait to meet her! ) and her new school endeavors, and most importantly!! what she was looking for in a photographer! I knew I not only wanted to be her photographer but I totally wanted to be her friend! <3
We decided to meet up in Downtown Carrboro to kick off their engagement session! Then we went to their ceremony location at Rock Quarry Farm in Hillsborough, which is beyond gorgeous!! They have an awesome set up out there and I can't wait for their wedding this Saturday! Awesome vendors, did I say a FOOD TRUCK RODEO???!!! Swooooon!
Can't wait to share photos from Katie's bachelorette party where she rented an AWESOME 1954 Airstream and camped out with her bridesmaid and man of honor at Jordan Lake! Sooooo CUTE!!!
Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session below!! <3
