When Jonathan gave Cassia that instantly recognizable blue box in front of the Ferris Wheel at the North Carolina State Fair last October, I remember hearing her soon to be sister in law, Caroline, saying... "It's from Tiffany's!" I had no idea how important those words were until a few weeks ago.. Honestly, I think Jonathan could've easily presented Cassia with a ring from a bubble gum machine and she would've been over the moon excited, but he didn't. He knew and thought about his bride and what would make her melt... and Tiffany & Co. is a part of Cassia. We talked about engagements early on.. their wedding is next year at the fair barn in Pinehurst, NC.. so we wanted to go ahead and do the engagements when it was convenient for both of us. Cassia emailed about possibly driving to Charlotte for their save the dates..
"I am IN LOVE with Audrey Hepburn and was thinking about maybe going down to Charlotte to go look at that Tiffany and Co. for our wedding bands, what do you think about doing a 'Breakfast at Tiffany & Co themed 'save the date' shoot? "
ABSOLUTELY. See as a photographer.. anything out of the norm.. is SO EXCITING!! I mean, don't get me wrong... I love a super sweet engagement where the light is golden, my couple is just completely content in each other's arms with lots of laughter and love. BUT.. sometimes it's nice to have a completely different take and I LOVE themed sessions!!
Tiffany & Co. was so accommodating with us.. we learned the rules quickly, where we could and couldn't shoot and completely respected that. It's still a retailer open for business and we tried not to make a spectacle of ourselves.. but when you see how amazing these two looked..people couldn't help but stop and go "wait, look at them.."
Cassia and Jonathan, So excited to be your photographer next year and looking forward to working with both of your families and all of your friends again! <3
If you didn't check out Part 1, you can do that here.. now on to Part 2!
